Farmfestival was conceived to create an event that stood up to the growing number of over-priced and overly corporate festivals dominating the U.K every summer. It was not established in order to make money. Every year donations are made to a number of charities including Practical Action, The British Stammering Association and local organisations such as Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

Practical Action
Practical Action is an international development charity with a difference. We work together with some of the world's poorest women, men and children, helping to tackle poverty in the developing world through the innovative use of technology. In everything we do, Practical Action is about bringing positive, lasting change to people's lives.
Our vision is of 'a world free of poverty and injustice, in which technology is used to the benefit of all'.
With a UK-based head office, Practical Action has locally-staffed offices and full-scale regional programmes in East and Southern Africa, Latin America and South Asia, and country programmes in Nepal, Bangladesh and Sudan.

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance
Many people still do not realise that we receive no direct funding from the Government or the National Lottery and we rely solely on the generosity of the general public to help us raise the £1.4 million a year it costs to keep flying.
We pride ourselves on having an outstanding air ambulance emergency service. Our team of highly trained paramedics and pilots use their knowledge, skill and cheerful enthusiasm to save lives every day.
Without the, drive and dedication of our staff and volunteers and, the amazing support of you the general public, the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance would not survive.
