Islington Boys Club are literally four lads from Islington who make great music. They suffer comparisons to a whole host of wide and varied luminaries: Suede, Blondie, Placebo, The Who, but we feel that this merely acts as testament to the enigmatic and powerful sound that these guys produce. They dish out a volley of noise that's both accomplished and instinctive, and one that belies the tender age of this four-some, having only been knocking on doors for one year now. And clearly we're not the only ones to have taken notice; check out their recent interview for BBC Introducing over there, and make sure you're down at the mainstage in time on Friday to catch them!
